If you then decide to take it further, a fee is payable for a survey and detailed measurements, drawings and calculations are made for Planning, Building Control and Yourselves. You control the design requirements at all stages. Once the details are agreed, a contract is produced for you with an agreed price. Planning applications are submitted and commencement dates provided for Building Control. Once planning is approved and a start date agreed work will then commence on the date agreed. Depending on size and design typical timescales for the actual building work can be from 6-16 weeks.
